I designed Laptop Vehicle Mount while working as an auto claims adjuster for Farmers Insurance Co. With their requirement of writing estimates in the field, while viewing the vehicle, I found it awkward trying to balance my laptop on my armrest or my lap while imputing the data.
The Search For the Perfect Auto Laptop Stand
After a few days I began to search the internet for something I could install easily in my car to support my laptop while I typed in the information. I found several different styles of laptop car mounts from different companies, but none met my requirements.
Why I Needed in a Laptop Vehicle Mount
Because I was driving a company vehicle, I needed an automotive laptop stand that met the following requirements:
I could not drill any holes to install any equipment,
I wanted something that would be sturdy,
Easy to install or remove,
Not interfere with any controls of the driver or the passenger,
Not block the view from the passenger mirror.
Not interfere with the passenger seat area, or passenger in any way.
Would not affect the integrity or the overall function of the passenger seat.

The universal floor mount also tilts to allow more flexibility and positions.
