Typical Installation Instructions
for a 2006 Chevy 2500 B/S, Console Auto
CAUTION: FOR YOUR SAFETY AND THE SAFETY OF OTHERS IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT YOU DO NOT USE YOUR COMPUTER WHILE VEHICLE IS IN MOTION.
1) Locate passenger inside seat track, and remove plastic cover next to track
2) Remove nut with 15mm 12 point socket
3) Install lower track mount
4) Reinstall nut and tighten to 16-22 ft lbs (You may need to trim plastic cover to fit around mount base).
5) Turn laptop upside down and center platform on bottom of laptop.
6) Trace in pencil the outline of the platform on the bottom of the laptop.
7) Apply small cut to fit Velcro to bottom of laptop and press firmly (Caution Do Not Put Velcro on Access Doors)
8)Trial fit platform to laptop
9) Remove protective back from remaing Velcro and attach the platform to the laptop.
10) Install platform and laptop in pedestal and tighten knob.
Handle Adjustment
The adjustable handles are easy to operate—just lift the handle to disengage from the internal gear teeth, rotate to desired position, and release the handle to engage gear teeth and tighten.

Your KMAC Laptop Vehicle Mount has already been assembled and is ready for installation.
Depending on the way you use your Laptop Vehicle Mount and the laptop you have, it is not necessary to apply excessive amounts of Velcro as it may become difficult to remove the laptop when you need it outside the vehicle.
However, some the laptop should be firmly secured to the platform. Use your discretion and please exercise caution, as the amount of Velcro your use will be up to you.
IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT YOU CUT THE VELCRO IN SMALL STRIPS, AND LEAVE THEM STUCK TOGETHER TO PUT THEM ON THE LAPTOP, PEEL THE BACK OFF AND ATTACHED THE PLATFORM. MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT COVER ANY LABELS OR ACCESS DOORS. VELCRO ON THE ACCESS PANELS MAY PULL LOOSE WHEN THE LAPTOP IS REMOVED FROM THE PLATFORM.
USE A GENLE TWISTING, PULLING MOTION WHEN REMOVING THE LAPTOP FROM THE PLATFORM.
